MINOS Takeout on Barrie Street, is a family run restaurant owned by Anna and George Barrico. MINOS Takeout was the third MINOS Restaurant that opened under the MINOS family in 1996.

MINOS Takeout was established to accomodate the demand for take-out, catering, and delivery focussing on “Great Food Fast!” at an Exceptional Value.

For Catering, pick up, or delivery, Minos Takeout offers daily specials, a wide variety of Greek cuisine, party platters, canapes, appetizers, lunch and dinner.

In December 2009, Minos Takeout expanded its operations with the introduction of the Dining Room next door to the Take Out. With a lot of hard work and innovative ideas, an ambiant restaurant is now available to serve you all the Greek delicacies you've come to enjoy and a variety of more dishes to satisfy your taste! Fully licensed under the LLBO we offer a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and drinks.

Where does the name MINOS come from?

The name MINOS was derived from a mythological figure, King Minos.

KING MINOS was a legendary ruler of the Greek island Crete; he was
the son of Zeus, the King of the Gods, and Europa (a personification of the continent of Europe.)
